SourcedX.com is an online marketplace that assists buyers in the process of sourcing of current, hard to find and obsolete electronic components. We take the frustration out of sourcing by providing the buyer with free access one of the largest databases of its kind. Buyers save both time and money, by shortening the supply chain and reducing leadtimes by dealing directly with the stocking distributor.

Our database contains inventory that is warehoused by the world's most reputable and recognisable franchised and independent distributors of electronic components. To help reduce the risks associated during the purchase process, all of the distributors found on our site have been subjected to a rigorous screening process, which ensures that only the most reliable, high quality distributors are permitted to list their stock in our database.

To source a component, buyers simply search our database by entering a manufacturers part number. When the required part is located, RFQ's can be sent directly to a sales contacts at the distributors showing stock. When a distributor receives an RFQ, buyers are quoted a price and given instructions on how to order the parts by the distributor. All orders and payments are carried out between the buyer and the distributor directly. SourcedX.com does not make any commissions on sales transactions.

Buyers enjoy free access to our database, and can use our site for all of their sourcing needs. Distributors are charged advertising fees in order to list their inventory on our site. The fees are calculated based on the number of impressions that a distributors inventory receives in the search results.

SourcedX.com was launched in September, 2008, and operates out of Sydney, Australia.
