Delaware Dynamics is the largest producer of die cast molds in North America. We possess the unique ability to support our customer’s needs from small multi cavity component parts up to large V-Block engine dies weighing up to 200,000 pounds. The proven capability to quickly deliver the finest tools obtainable is a direct result of our experienced and dedicated staff. Our continuing effort to remain at the pinnacle of available technologies for the design, manufacture, and development of our product has reduced lead times and improved quality and life cycle of the dies. As innovators in the die cast industry, Delaware has created many of the ideas now advertised by others as their standard business practices. We were the first to use CAD/CAM techniques to eliminate the handmade cavity models and reduced overall tolerances threefold. Slide interchangeability through the use of 3D virtual design and manufacturing has been a common feature of our tools since the early 1980’s. Our recent improvements in the dies used to manufacture V-Block engines have dramatically reduced bore tolerances, required machine stock, and cycle times.

Delaware Metals is a small machine shop with about 25 employees. Our consistent quality is the result of having quality personnel dedicated to meeting our goals of serving the customer. Four of our machinists have been with the company over 20 years and five more over 10 years, as well as training the next generation of machinist through our apprenticeship program. Our management team has over 60 years combined experience in the machinist trade. We have the knowledge, experience, and skills to make your toughest designs a reality. We specialize in precision CNC machining as well as the prototyping, fabrication and assembly of metal and composite materials for aerospace, automotive, medical device, metrology, nuclear, and pharmaceutical applications. Having been in business since 1953, Delaware Metals and its management have seen many businesses come and go. It is our ongoing dedication to meeting our customer’s needs that has been key to our longevity and keeping our business strong through these tough economic times. Many of our current customers have been turning to us for help for more than 20 years and 97% of our business is repeat customers. We are not new to competing in the global market. His legacy lives on through our current owner (and son), Bob Sakuta. Bob started working for Delta in 1978 and has taken the organization to new levels, including the 2004 addition of Delta Gear to our team. We are now positioned as the premier prototype transmission, engineering and powertrain facility in the industry.
