He worked for ten years in the U.S. manufacturing industry as a setupman and foreman before starting Delta Machine Company in 1980. His background included both mechanical and electrical engineering. His attention to detail, strong work ethics, and extensive knowledge in engineering made him a sought-after professional in the industry.

About Delta Delta Research began in 1952 as a prototype transmission and powertrain developer for the Big 3 automotive industry. Founder, Alex Sakuta, built a strong foundation for the company by providing outstanding quality, as well as design and build projects. His legacy lives on through our current owner (and son), Bob Sakuta. Bob started working for Delta in 1978 and has taken the organization to new levels, including the 2004 addition of Delta Gear to our team. Delta Technologies, LLC is a privately owned mold and fixture manufacturer supplying both automotive and non-automotive markets. Deltran was founded in 1961 as a precision stamping supplier to the electrical/electronics industry. Our manufacturing roots are in the ability to design and build progressive tooling required to produce custom precision metal stampings. Today, Deltran is known for maintaining a high standard of excellence and is certified as an ISO 9001:2015 registered company. Specializing in the production of custom precision metal stampings, some of the products we produce are precious metal contacts utilizing inlay, overlay and engineered materials, as well as quick connect terminals and various switch component stampings.
