Dixon Tool & Die Co., Inc. was established in 1972 by William L. Dixon, Sr. in a two-car garage. Our first product was Forge Dies for the Brass Industry. Through the years, the company has grown into a versatile, modern-day 30,000 square-foot facility with a quality work force and the ability to change directions to meet whatever needs the Manufacturing Industry is looking for. In September 2013, the company was purchased by William L. Dixon, Jr., and we pride ourselves on being a third generation family owned and operated business with knowledgeable, hard working employees whom we like to think of as family. The mission of DT&D is simple: Produce high quality tooling and products for our customers.

Dixon Tool and Manufacturing, Inc. has been producing quality parts for twenty five years. The company has gone through numerous expansions in response to customer requirements. Since moving into the improved facility in December of 2012, we have added more than 15 new machines. Our attention to customer service and maintaining high manufacturing standards has allowed us to expand into the 17,000 square foot structure in a relatively short time. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction with long-term service and quality that will exceed expectations. Our team is vastly diversified with extensive experience and knowledge of precision components which include parts for Aerospace, Military, Automotive, Medical, Recreation, Electronics, Business Equipment, and Alternative Energy, along with assembly and inspection fixtures for high-end production lines. We have an array of precision machining equipment to help us handle any job from high accuracy low- volume prototypes up to high-volume production. Our customer base extends across the USA; with some of our components in the Far East.

Since 2004 DJ Machining has been the go to shop for our customers specialty alloys, super alloys and high temperature alloys machining needs. Our founders previous experience as a Project Manager/Project Engineer in the nuclear defense industry and the meticulous attention to detail required in the nuclear industry is seen in the quality of work we produce. Our specialty is sawing and machining the alloys used in the aerospace, defense, oil and gas and nuclear industries. DK Machine is proud to be a small privately owned and 100% American company founded from very humble beginnings in 1985. We have one manufacturing facility located in beautiful Upstate NY in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains situated right along the Hudson River. With occasional part time help our manpower floats around 20 employees. Our facility consists of a total 13,170 square feet with a machining area of 9,500 square feet, with 450 square feet that is committed specifically to quality assurance and an assembly area of 770 square feet. Our commitment to quality extends beyond the manufacture of your parts, so we have dedicated 250 square feet solely to our shipping area where your parts are expertly and carefully packaged to ensure their safe passage and arrival. We have engineering and management office space of 2200 square feet with several thousand additional square feet of cold storage space. Our employees are drawn from the local area which has been known for its technical expertise since the American Industrial Revolution brought a flood of manufacturing to the Hudson River valley. Our employees bring a combined experience of over 300 years in the machining, assembly, engineering, and quality assurance trades. We pride ourselves on taking good care of our employees in every way because they are the most essential part of our business and our commitment to them shows in their loyalty and steadfastness. We hire an outside firm to perform annual preventive maintenance of machinery that includes a complete teardown, deep cleaning and inspection with no cost spared to ensure that any and all problems that are discovered are repaired 100% so that you don’t have to worry about our machines causing a disruption in your supply chain. All inspection equipment is maintained and calibrated at regular intervals according to a written quality policy to ensure its accuracy and reliability. Our buildings are well maintained and kept clean and neat inside and out and all our employees take pride in our business’s appearance.
