Established in 1967 by Gerald Dow, Dow Hydraulic Systems started out with a single honing machine in a garage and a vision for the future. Today, after more than 50 years and 3 generations of Dow Family leaders, it operates in over 25,000 sq. ft. in 1 campus and employs around 100 people. Since 1960, Downey Grinding has provided centerless grinding services with unbeatable quality and delivery at a competitive price. We consistently maintain tight tolerances and provide superior finishes on parts of virtually any material. Our grinding capabilities include infeed and thru-feed grinding of outside diameters ranging from .030” to 2.500” including parts with multiple diameters. To maximize production efficiency, we maintain multiple fully automated grinders, a team of handle and bellows units, along with speed controllers for Titanium part applications. A 5,000 gallon centralized oil and filtration system keeps oil clean for optimum quality and surface finish
