CNC tool paths can be generated from most 3D geometry to provide accurate manufacturing directly from the CAD model. EGS Production Machining, Inc. began business in 1980, as a manufacturer of quality screw machine parts. Through the years, we have evolved into a world class manufacturer of precision, multi-axis close tolerance Swiss CNC machined parts, specializing in stainless and nickel based specialty alloys. We also offer precision CNC turning, milling and grinding, plus sub-assembly capabilities. We are an ISO 9001:2008 registered company. Swiss CNC equipment routinely holds tolerances of +/- .0001” and can machine up to 1.250” diameter barstock. Conventional CNC machining can machine up to 2.250” diameter barstock. Many customers have partnered with us by outsourcing their critical components and releasing these requirements via Kanban/electronic inventory management systems. Most of these partnerships have become “dock to stock” supplying due to our exemplary quality ratings. In 1964, Ejay Eastin began machining parts on a Bridgeport mill in a rented two-car garage. As a subtier supplier for various machine shops around Southern California, he quickly earned a reputation for excellence that provided the breakthrough opportunity to produce a bracket for the landing gear of the Surveyor moon probes. The exponential growth that followed brought two relocations, serving increasing customer demand with space for additional machines and equipment. Partnering with his son in 1981, they leveraged Sky’s ongoing training to add CNC machines and, eventually, CAD / CAM programming to their arsenal. These upgrades opened the door to manufacturing C-17 parts, starting in the late 80s, and Ejay’s Machine rapidly gained the distinction of having parts on every C-17 in existence. Retiring in 1994, Ejay passed the company on to current President, Denise Eastin, with Sky retaining the Vice President mantle. In 1980, ENC added the stepping switch and relay lines purchased from GTE Automatic Electric. In 1984, we purchased three additional lines: rotary switch, "E" relay, and correed relay, to compliment our existing products. We are still manufacturing all of these products. We are continuously searching for new products to add to our existing standard line, which began the custom manufacturing portion of our operation.
