Originally established in 1978 under the name of Kenco Precision Machining, two journeymen machinists came together with the vision of providing Sonoma County with their prized precision craftsmanship for a fair price. They believed that nurturing partnerships with their customers was as important as delivery top quality work. After a decade of successful operation, the two journeymen carefully selected Jim Galvin to carry on the success of the business they had worked so hard to create. The Galvin's, for whom the shop was renamed Galvin Precision Machining, used their savvy and knowledge of production machining to remarkably catapult sales threefold in just five years. Today the tradition of precision craftsmanship for a fair price continues as Galvin Precision Machining brings over 30 years of production experience and many skilled journeyman machinists to every job.

Garden State Precision, Inc., Inc. was established in 1973 as a Tool and Die shop, specializing in precision surface grinding services for companies requiring spare part carbide and steel components for their stamping, and manufacturing needs. We still maintain a strong presence in providing precision ground components, made from various materials. As a result of our growing customer base, and requests of our customers, we provided additional capabilities to our business to further provide for their tooling needs. In response, we added CNC machining, High speed precision Wire EDM, and high speed hole drilling, via EDM Drill, to further enhance our Wire EDM capabilities. We have also added CNC grinding to our list of capabilities. This will help us to remain competitive in all aspects of form grinding, while utilizing some of the best technology available. Our decision to purchase a Wasino Meister CNC grinder was an easy decision, considering their reputation in the industry. The standard by which we have built our business has, and will continue to be, our commitment to not just meet, but exceed the needs our customers to the best of our ability.
