The company began to grow and eventually moved to Santa Fe Springs and in 2002, moved again to its current location in La Mirada in order to keep up with its growing manufacturing capacity. Mr. Kim hailed from the original All American Drill Bushing in Glendale and spent over 20 years leading the manufacturing team at United California Corporation (aka. United Drill Bushing) in Downey, CA. Together with his partner Silas Pak, the General management team brings over 70 years of experience in precision component manufacturing and grinding. General Grinding, Inc. was first organized in the early forties, as an automotive parts grinding shop. After the war, the company decided to capitalize on its expertise in precision grinding procedures and techniques to secure a niche in the metal trades.
