The employees of Grave Fabricating possess a wide variety of skills and expertise. Over half of our employees have more than 15 years in the industry and 10 years of employment with the company. We take pride in doing a good job and do our best to develop a long term relationship with our customers.

Graybill's Machine Shop located on E. Ferdinand Street. In 1959 his son H. Reid Graybill began to work for the company. In 1960 the name was changed to Graybill's Machine and Tool. The company's name was changed to the present Graybill's Tool and Die, Inc. in 1974. Shortly thereafter the old Cinco cigar factory located at 147 W. High Street was purchased. Graybill's Tool and Die, Inc. renovated this building and moved into it in 1978. Due to growth of the business, the property next to the east side of Graybill's was purchased and an addition was added in 1993. The original building at 147 W. High St. was built in 1912 by the N. W. Gingrich Construction Company of Manheim to be a modern cigar factory. The building held it's grand opening in 1913 and began manufacturing hand-rolled Cinco cigars. Around 1923 the William R. Noggle Shirt Company, a producer of men's shirts and pajamas, purchased the building and used it as a sewing factory for many years. If you look very carefully, once in a while you can find a straight pin still lodged in a crack in the floor boards. The building had several different owners until Graybill's Tool and Die, Inc. purchased it in 1977. Presently the company averages around 30 - 35 employees and operates as a full service jobber in the business of providing complete design and build of special machines, manufacturing systems, machine controls, panel building, prototypes, custom tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and precision machined parts. Designers employ full solid modeling software as well as 2D CAD (Computer Aided Design). Computer controlled as well as traditional machine tools and techniques are used to complete business operations.

In 2003 Gray Tech International adopted SAE AS9100 standard as the cornerstone of our quality management system throughout the organization. The Quality Policy provides the overall structure for the quality management system to continuously provide our customers with defect free, superior quality products there by developing customer satisfaction and trust. Gray Tech International has many years of experience in supplying close tolerance machining components of high temperature alloys to the aerospace industry. Our facility occupies 25,000 square feet fully air conditioned, located in Cleveland, Ohio, near I-90, I-71, and I-480. It's a fully equipped precision machine shop with 25 CC machining centers and other equipment to complement the turning and milling operation process. Our manufacturing engineering uses Virtual Gibbs programming software, a CAD/CAM product that define our customers' drawings and program the manufacturing process of the component part on screen before the actual machining. Our dedication to quality begins with the initial customer contact and is carried through to the final inspection and delivery of the product. Our quality assurance system insures precise dimensional control and consistency in our manufacturing process that satisfy the most stringent of our aerospace customer's standards. All raw material are processed through strict receiving inspection followed by periodic inspection throughout the manufacturing process. Quality Assurance employed during production includes first article report; work in process report using blueprint requirements to insure that all in house procedures comply with every customer specification.

Lawndale Forge, industrial blacksmiths and manufacturer of carbon and stainless shackles, was started at its present location in 1928 by Ralph Russell Sr., an immigrant from Gloucestershire, England whose family had been blacksmithing for many generations. Prior to Lawndale Forge there had been a blacksmith shop on this site since before the Chicago Fire. The grandsons and great grandsons of Ralph Russell Sr. are carrying on the old world craftsmanship that imparts optimum strength and grain flow to our forgings.

After 20 years in the dairy farming industry, our President, Paul Green Jr., decided to turn his side job making milking parlor equipment for a company in Hagerstown, Maryland, into his full-time job in 1998. Turning part of his dairy farm into a fully equipped custom welding and machining facility, Green Glade Welding has grown over the years to employ 3 full-time and 3 part-time employees. Through it all, our dedication to providing a quality product alongside exceptional, personalized customer service has always been foremost in our minds.
