Using state-of-the-art CNC machining equipment we produce critical tolerance precision-machined parts for high technology companies. Product Management for all manufacturing starts with the use of JobBOSS support software detailing order entry, purchasing, manufacturing and accounting for each order. The product management team uses this information combined with CAD/CAM (Auto CAD Master CAM) to program each part on our CNC equipment. Our quality management system has evolved over time and we are now certified to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100:2016.

Intrex Aerospace is an experienced precision CNC manufacturing company. We produce tight tolerance machined components for aerospace, defense and space. We understand the importance of producing quality parts, on-time. Our 75,000 sq. ft. facility has state-of-the-art equipment and a control process system necessary to manufacture precision aerospace components. We are ISO 9001 certified and AS 9100 certified. We are experienced with providing defense components and are ITAR compliant. Our equipment includes 3 and 4 axis vertical and horizontal machine centers and 5-6-7 axis turn/mills, ensuring flexibility in the high-precision machining of complex shapes and sizes. In addition to our aerospace machining capabilities, we have a powerful Epicor ERP/MRP system, capable of managing your complex supply chain requirements. Our system is designed to manage demanding long term agreements (LTA). We offer a complete program management solution and can provide everything from engineering support, raw material sourcing, part machining, special process management, documentation and shipment. IGM was founded in 1968 by Allen E. Frantz. Business was based on high precision carbide tooling for the local piston ring industry. Allen retired in 1986, and the business is currently owned and operated by his daughter Brenda Amaya, as a certified Woman-Owned Business. While the piston ring industry continues to be part of our business, we are diversified into most industries now, including defense, military, medical, metal working machinery, power generation, stamping, and more. IGM is your full-service job shop. Our CNC machining department does CNC turning, CNC machining, and conventional machining on our state-of-the-art equipment. We offer comprehensive capabilities for Manufacturing and Engineering Technology Development, including: Precision CNC Machining, Prototype or Production, CNC Swiss Type Machining, Contract Manufacturing, Cost Reduction Analysis for Component Fabrication. CNC Swiss machines have front and rear spindles which allow us to process parts from both ends of a part simultaneously. This feature works together with the seven live milling/drilling spindles giving us the capability to produce parts complete in one operation. With these CNC Swiss machines we are able to machine parts as small as 0.005 inches in diameter up to 0.75 inches in diameter. Iowa Metal Products, Inc. was formed in 2005 with the acquisition of Langer Manufacturing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Langer produced wire formed products, including milk crates, fan guards, and components for the agricultural industry. The assets of the company were relocated to Belle Plaine, Iowa in a 20,000-sq/ft facility that had formally housed Palco Manufacturing. In 2007 the assets of Crow Creek Machine in Vinton, Iowa were purchased and relocated to Belle Plaine. This became the foundation for the machined parts division of Iowa Metal Products. CNC machining centers and lathes produce precision-machined components for the food processing, pharmaceutical, forestry and agricultural industries. Iowa Metal Products is a sister company to Iowa Mold & Engineering, Inc., a plastic injection mold building company. Both companies are privately held by Brad Cook.
