After experiencing first hand the difficulties of managing production on the other side of the world, we founded our company to assist manufacturers with their global sourcing challenges. In response to customer needs, we focused on forging, casting, machining, and fabrication. We appreciate the stringent specifications of the parts and the relationships we have built with both suppliers and customers. We are both thankful and proud that the early customers that shaped the direction of our company are still with us today. In 2015, we changed the trade name of the company from The Janssen Boas Company to JB Metalcraft to better reflect the work we do.

JB Fabrication and welding is a product design and prototyping shop in San Bernardino, CA. We specialize in developing prototypes and turn key projects using our broad range of skill sets and equipment. Our CAD/CAM capabilities enable us to use CNC machines for CNC machining, cnc routing, cnc plasma cutting parts to create exceptional prototypes. ABOUT JB TOOL, DIE & ENGINEERING, INC. JB Tool, Die & Engineering, Inc. was established in 1962 by the partnership of James Beltz and Calvin Bear. In just three years JB Tool outgrew the building in downtown Fort Wayne, where they began, and moved to the Interstate Business Park where they are presently located. After numerous additions to the main building, they were able to acquire buildings on either side of them and are now operating out of a three building campus on Dividend Road. Starting out as a company that only designed and built progressive dies, JB Tool has grown into a company that designs and builds Rotary Compression Molding Machinery and Tooling, Specially Designed Machines for a variety of other businesses, precision machining of parts for the Aerospace Industry, to go along with their die making.

JBC Machine, Inc. is a family-owned business started in 1985 by John Harvey. Originally, the company included just one employee and one manual lathe in a rented garage space before becoming the first business to locate in the Hortonville Industrial Park in 1991. In 1998, JBC Machine incorporated and doubled the size of its facility, and again increased the size of its facility in 2007. In May of 2013, JBC added a second shift which currently employs five machinists. In 2018, JBC expanded yet again adding more shop space as well as additional offices to accommodate further growth. With each addition, JBC added more equipment and employees. In January of 2019 after a ten-year buyout, Aaron Harvey (John’s son) became President of JBC and took full ownership of the company. Aaron started at JBC in 1997 right out of high school. He went on to become our second apprentice to graduate our apprenticeship program through Fox Valley Technical College. He learned to program and run every machine in the shop over the next 12 years before starting to transition into the office where he learned the business operations of the company. John retired in June of 2019 and is enjoying his hobbies which include barrel racing and skiing. Today JBC features twenty-five employees including seventeen machinists on the shop floor and continues to invest in new equipment and training.

JBK Manufacturing was founded in 1981 as a supplier of precision CNC machined parts and fabrications. Early on, the JBK commitment to quality and delivery was noticed by customers, and in 1987, the company was awarded a contract to manufacture lubrication jets for the innovative V-22 aircraft transmission. A supplier relationship that began with just one oil jet for a single platform quickly expanded to include the development and manufacture of close-tolerance, CNC machined parts for multiple aerospace customers. By 1995, JBK’s customer base had expanded to include a host of commercial and industrial markets. Since the beginning, JBK has seen many changes – new technology, expanded capabilities, and increased capacity. JBK is now a Tier I supplier to multiple aerospace customers and serves a host of customers in defense, energy, oil, and paper industries. The one thing that has not changed since the beginning is our unwavering commitment to quality and delivery.

James Blanco, Owner/President of JCB Performance Machine, began his path in CNC Turning in 1995 working in a high production CNC machining environment for a major Aerospace manufacturer in New Hampshire. His employment was originally to primarily support his passion, “street car” type drag racing. In 2000, he moved on to other challenges in CNC turning at a Thermal Spray Equipment manufacturer where he continued his experience and found his new passion for Mazak CNC turning centers that had the ability to Turn parts as well as Mill and Drill features normally considered “secondary operations”. He was programming, quoting, troubleshooting, and producing parts representing many configurations and unique challenges. Jim worked directly with engineering on new product applications, learned CAD, and earned his Green belt in Six Sigma. In 2003, Jim was ready for another change. He wanted to continue producing parts on Mazak turning centers, but also wanted to work with different varieties of parts and materials. He wanted to work directly with customers and use his experience to offer them solutions for their manufacturing needs. He would utilize his somewhat compulsive nature to produce products to a quality level with the intention of exceeding his customers’ expectations and deliver them when they needed them. With the help and patience of his wife, Sara, he started JCB Performance Machine in March of 2003. He operated during 2nd shift hours out of a humble 1500sf shop in Epsom, NH, while still working for his day job. By 2006, he had built a strong customer base by holding true to the ideals he started the business with. His business’s work load had grown to a level that couldn’t be sustained with the 2nd shift hours alone, so he left his day job and set out to continue building his business, adding capabilities, and working with his customers on a full time basis. In 2006, JCB Performance Machine moved from the Epsom location into a 6,500sf facility located in Concord, NH. The move would accommodate our existing growth and provide for future expansion. JCB acquired an Overhead Bridge Crane that could access any point on the manufacturing floor. The company then began hiring skilled and talented employees with engineering and machining backgrounds and adding more equipment with even the most advanced capabilities possible.
