In 1978, Aero Components was founded as Aero Components Inc. Since then, Aero Components has developed a tradition of quality, dependability, and investment in its employees that has grown Aero Components from a small machine shop to the OEM approved, full-service manufacturer of complex bonded and composite assemblies that exists today. To date, Aero Components has supplied over 8,000 unique items to the DOD and many other customers and continues to expand its capabilities and reach. As of 2021, Aero Components holds over 50 OEM special process approvals and counting. Aero Grinding, Inc. is one of the largest centerless grind shops in the U.S. With over 80 Cincinnati Centerless Grinders, running on 40,000 square feet of production floor space, we're ready to handle jobs of any volume. Centerless Grinder Repair, CGR, is a centerless grinder rebuilding and retrofitting company dedicated to delivering production equipment of the highest quality and reliability.

Aero Industries started in 1985 as a one man enterprise, originally to assemble ultra-light aircraft for those who purchased kits but lacked the time, space or skills to complete them. To ensure a steady cash flow, other aluminum fabrication was sought. Genuine commitment to quality and delivery dates soon established a solid customer base which became the main focus of our company. Aircraft Building was put aside as we developed a niche in the trade show and exhibit industry. Our growth was carefully balanced by continually re-investing our own funds. By the mid 1990’s we had designed and patented our own product line. In 1997 after expanding our first building in Flesherton, we purchased a new building in Markdale to allow us to expand our custom fabrication work. We doubled the size in 2000 to accommodate another exhibit product line which we had designed and also patented. We also purchased our first C.N.C machine plus two computerize automatic cut off saws. In 2002 we added another 5,000 square foot addition to house 3 more C.N.C. machines and to have room for our expanding product lines. The summer of 2004 required us to construct a separate warehouse to facilitate shipping and receiving. Our success has largely depended on our commitment to partnering with our customers.
