We are a leading North American reprocessor, compounder and distributor of plastic raw material located in Mississauga (Toronto), Canada since 1992. We process post industrial parts into reusable regrind/ reprocessed pellets. We buy post industrial parts through long term post industrial parts management programs and spot buys for our compounding needs and offer cost saving solutions in form of compounded pellets/regrinds. Kal-Polymers also has the capability to process pellets from post industrial parts auto parts, films, sheets, skeletons, trims, fluff, fines/powder, purge and drools with paint, print, barrier, lamination, co-extruded and coated. We are also an authorized distributor for Sabic Innovative Plastics, North America.

The Kansas Manufacturing Company has been in continuous operation in Lawrence, Kansas since 1945. It was originally a Tool & Die and Stamping operation started by the grandfather of Adrian M. Burns. The Company has continued to design and build Tooling as well as producing stampings, machined components and custom assemblies for industry.

KAP Manufacturing is an Alumnus of the DOD Mentor-Protégé program, and one of the select few that can say it is a Nunn-Perry award winner. KAP was awarded this prestigious honor after only its first of three years in the program. KAP fully embraced the opportunity and the training provided from our Mentor and their consultants. With the training received, KAP was able to increase overall throughput time of jobs with no impact to quality through ideas of lean manufacturing and value stream mapping. KAP was also trained in process improvement and sub-tier management. With all the newly attained skills, KAP was able to manage its growth from 11 employees to 28, and also provide more capacity and value added services to our existing and future customers.

We specialize in fabricating parts and assemblies made of Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and extruded metal from design to finished product. We also offer Engineering and Design options per customer request. We have implemented a successful in process and final inspection quality control system that has met the needs of our current ISO 9000 customers. We currently have a 40,000 sq. ft.
