Alex Poff graduated from Oregon State University in 2015 with an B.S. in Physics. He then worked as a machinist and engineer at local shops in the Willamette Valley until 2021, when Alex bought Katon Precision Machining. Katon Precision Machining specializes in unique, complex, high precision machining with a focus on quick turn around times and on time deliveries.

Kelcor Machine was established in 1987 in the back of a one room shop in Troy Ohio. As the industry changed, the company saw the need to stay on the cutting edge of technology and out grew their first location. In 1994, they purchased the building at 1523 Milburn and have seen steady growth since. As new equipment was added over the next 10 years, this put the facility at max capacity. In order to better serve their customers, Kelcor expanded their current location in January of 2005, and again in 2014. Kelcor has been privileged with steady, solid growth and have our customers and employees to thank.
