KPT Precision is a full service CNC precision machining facility, manufacturing high-tech, close tolerance, precision machined components, from a wide variety of materials such as PTFE, Ultem, Peek, Aluminum, Stainless, Tool Steels, Copper Nickel and Titanium. Our services include prototype & production CNC 3-5 Axis Milling, CNC Turning c/w live tooling, CMM Inspection and Assembly in our 1,000 sq. ft. climate controlled Clean Room. Our team of experts will meet all of your high precision machining requirements. We have extensive experience in the Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Military/Defense, Process Instruments and Plastic Injection Molding Industries. Our 10,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled facility is located in Rexdale, Ontario, Canada. Flat grinding and lapping of large, oversized parts is our specialty. We also specialize in low volume, high tolerance or difficult material jobs. Find out why we say "But We Can!" We have the capacity to grind very large (up to 48" thick or 96" wide or 240" long) parts as well as almost anything smaller. We surface grind plates, castings, weldments, molds, dies, knives, blades, bars, rings and machine beds. Krafft and Associates, Inc. was founded in 1966 by Fritz Krafft, who had more than 35 years experience designing and building machines and systems at the Thompson Grinder Company. Many of you may know current manager Bill Krafft, who is always happy to discuss your projects and delivery requirements. Our production employees average more than fifteen years experience. We believe we have grown because of our dedication to quality and service. We continue to add capacity and modernize our machinery. Besides our variety of grinding and lapping machines, we have a 15O-ton hydraulic straightening press, 7.5-ton capacity cranes throughout our factory, miscellaneous job shop machines and inspection equipment to assure conformance to standards.

In 1978, 20-year-old William (Bill) Ptacek graduated from the Machine Tooling program at North Dakota State School of Science. Back in his hometown of Oakes, ND, he was encouraged to open his own farm repair shop. He started out in a small 30 x 30 building on the Southwest end of town. In the last 40 years, Kustom Machine has grown from a one man repair shop to a 30,000 sq ft production machine shop with a team of 23 technically trained and experienced machinists, welders, repair specialists and office administration. Over the years we have continually invested in the latest technology to meet customers’ needs more efficiently and affordably. Facility capabilities have expanded to include water jet (precision cutting), press brake , nine production weld stalls, seven CNC machining centers, saw mill, and multiple manual tooling machines, allowing them to take a project from prototype to production and meet a customer’s needs at any stage inbetween.
