Lam Precision is an approved vendor to manufacture ASIP/MESIP Critical Parts F-35 by Lockheed Martin. Our supplier number is PQA445 We specialize in Quick Turn Around Service for prototype and production. We also offer final finishing on very high precision Jig Bore and Jig Grinding. In addition, our capabilities include 3D programming. Our facility is located in Orange County, California and occupies a 8,000 sq. ft. building, accessible from multiple freeways and airports.

Lamb Engineering started in 1988 in my father's small garage. I did not intend on making a business, all I wanted to do was build a model Steam Engine. I have not built the engine but after 27 years of making items from washers to propellers I can honestly say that I enjoy my job more then I started out. We are still a small company employing 6 staff and cover a wide range of skills and machinery. Lamb engineering is a sub contract machine/fabrication workshop who specialise in prototype /design work. We have several of our own designs ranging from padlocks to propellors which were all designed inhouse. Our specialty is small batch and one off jobs, often to the customers specific ideas. We mainly concentrate on subcontract machining and prototype development.

The history of LAMB Knitting Machine Corporation is rich in American craftsmanship. Our story begins in the 1860’s, when Pastor Isaac W. Lamb developed the first V-Bed flat knitting machine. The LAMB Knitting Machine Manufacturing Company was formed and started production of these machines under a U.S. Patent in year 1867. By year 1890, LAMB machines were exported for use in textile mills and for home knitters throughout the world. In 1893, the company merged with A.G. Spaulding and changed its name to LAMB Manufacturing Company. In addition to knitting machines, the company also manufactured bicycle frames, rifles and shotguns. The company ceased operations briefly during the great depression. Shortly thereafter, in 1931, the company was reorganized as LAMB Knitting Machine Corporation by four employees of the original company. LAMB Knitting Machine Corporation re-branded itself by focusing exclusively on designing and manufacturing narrow fabric knitting machines and equipment associated with the textile industry.
