Master Machine was founded in 1984 by Richard Chaltry and his daughter Patricia Atkinson. The company began operations by machining precision parts for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMS) in various markets but primarily in Texas. In 2005, Patricia became the sole owner and operator. Today, the company is a third-generation family-owned business.

Master Machining started back in 1986 in the family garage originally as a prototype and production tooling business for cold headers and hot forging machines. We have been a family-owned and operated company ever since. From our humble beginnings, we have grown into a 7,500 square foot facility. This expansion has enabled us to increase our machining capabilities and forge into new territories that the family garage didn't—we provide our skill sets in numerous industries that now include aerospace, automotive, and medical. Our shop takes a leading edge on competitors in the area. We are equipped with modern CNC lathes and mills powered by Mastercam CAD/CAM software that tailors our programming to your parts and individual needs. Quality management is high on our list, which means that we pride ourselves on our ISO 9001:2015 certification. Master Metal Products is a custom metal fabrication shop based in San Jose, CA that specializes in welding, rolling, forming, cutting and machining a wide variety of materials into pieces used in the transportation, green, defense, aerospace and mining industries utilizing the latest in robotic technology. Master Research & Manufacturing, Inc., owns and operates in a 30,000 Sq. Ft. facility located in Norwalk California. We are a manufacturer of complex machine parts and assemblies; established 35 years ago as a highly technical and innovative source of supply to the U.S. Government as well as the major aerospace prime contractors. In 2000, Adriana and Enrique Viano acquired Master Research and took it to another level of excellence and commitment by hiring highly skilled personnel and strategically adding, updating and replacing state of the art machine tools and programming software to complement the existingfoundation of highly precision equipment. Master Research being a self-registered SDB (woman owned) and in good standing is pleased to be able to add another dimension in supporting our customers’ many federal requirements.
