Micro Steel is a woman-owned small business machine shop since 1986. We specialize in manufacturing high precision complex machined parts and assemblies, mainly for the aerospace industry. Micro Tool was founded in 1969 by Larry Beige and was incorporated in 1974 forming Micro Tool & Mfg., Inc. In 1996, Micro Plastics, Inc. was formed. Both businesses were purchased by Mark Hanna and Mark Sisco from Larry Beige in 1997. In 2011, Micro Tool & Manufacturing, Inc. and Micro Plastics, Inc. were purchased by Mark Sisco after Mark Hanna’s untimely death. In late 2019 Jeff Battles joined Mark Sisco and the two are currently running Micro Tool and Manufacturing, Inc. and Micro Plastics, Inc.

Micro-Matics creates custom Swiss components for medical, aerospace and commercial industries. We’ve chosen to focus exclusively on Swiss machining because it allows us to give our customers the high quality and tight tolerances they demand.

When founder, John Marusiak Jr. first read about Electrical Discharge Machining in 1955, he knew it was the future for manufacturing. A retired Air Force fighter and test pilot with plenty of energy, John, along with his wife Angie, incorporated Micro-Tronics in December of 1968. Initially running machines during the morning, visiting customers and making deliveries in the afternoon, John nurtured MTI’s growth in specialized machining. Over the years, their dedication, drive and customer emphasis evolved Micro-Tronics into one of the finest and largest advanced high technology precision manufacturers in the Southwest. MTI combines these capabilities by also manufacturing complex assemblies consisting of rubber and/or composite materials bonded to machined hardware.

Creative Engineering Consultants was founded by Bruce Winn in 1978. Bruce was able to successfully capitalize on his thirty years of work as an engineer at Reynolds Metals by offering his expertise in minerals grinding to others as a consulting engineer. In 1988 Bruce Winn began marketing and distributing Humboldt Wedag mills and established MicroGrinding Systems, Inc. His experience with these and other machines of the time led to the development of the family of VibroKinetic Energy Grinding Mills that are now manufactured and marketed by MicroGrinding Systems, Inc. Bruce Winn retired in 2005 and the company is now directed by President and CEO, Mike Winn, and company Vice President, Jeremy Canada. Mike is himself a mechanical engineer and spent his early career in racing tire research and development for the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company as well as the development of the VibroKinetic Energy Grinding Mills Mills. Today, the need for grinding systems capable of producing ever smaller particles, (often requiring sizes of less than 1 micron), has led the staff of Creative Engineering Consultants and MicroGrinding Systems, Inc. to develop and refine our grinding systems to produce material in the nanoparticle range.

For over 45 years we have focused on using Speed and Precision to rapidly deliver the highest quality device and analytical instrument components and assemblies to our customers.
