Modern Forge Companies, LLC began as Modern Die & Tool Company in 1914 as a part-time business for Melvin and Sadie Farmer. Since then, Modern has steadily grown to be a leader in forging industry, known for its engineering and service excellence. Today, Modern employs over 650 people across five world-class manufacturing facilities, with over 25 production forge units, and two dedicated machining facilities for finished products and assemblies. The business is now run by the family's third and fourth generations. Modern continually looks to expand and modernize, while remaining committed to the quality and service our customers have come to expect over our more than 100 year history.

Founded in 1982, Modern Investment Casting Company (MICC) leads the way in small precision type castings used in all industries. Our foundry maintains the latest equipment available for applying the unique "Lost Wax" investment casting process. "Lost Wax" castings require little or no machine work and can be cast with either ferrous or non-ferrous materials including all grades of stainless steel, high and low grade carbon steel and bronze and aluminum. Our quality control begins with the design stage and continues at every step of the manufacturing process. Modern Investment Casting Company guarantees total support with single source responsibility and efficiency from design through finished product. Our staff consults closely with you to ensure that your final product is always the highest quality available. Located just outside of Ponca City, Oklahoma, our plant is easily accessed by 2 paved highways.

Modern Linear, Inc. was founded by Steve Fulton in 2004. Steve has worked in the linear motion industry for over twenty years designing and selling all types of linear motion products. His experience includes working for industry leaders that produce ball bushings and profile rail technology, as well as Teflon bushings and guide rollers. This experience led Steve to start a company devoted to guide roller components and guide roller technology. Modern Linear’s goal is to improve the performance of automated equipment. To achieve this, we develop products that offer superior longevity, improve machine performance, and lower operating costs. Our customer service goals are to always ship from stock or with the shortest manufacturing lead times in the industry.
