Precision Profiles, LLC is a custom manufacturer that has been producing high precision metal components for over 25 years. The Company specializes in producing tight-tolerance steam turbine components for OEMs and other companies within the power generation industry. Our value proposition is simple: we deliver high-precision OEM steam turbine components at a lower cost than our competitors – and with shorter lead times. This reduces the overall cost incurred by our customers for turbine builds/repairs and increases their production capacity. In addition to manufacturing steam turbine components, Precision Profiles offers a full suite of value-added machining services, including: multi-axis CNC milling & machining, turning, saw cutting, and wire EDM services. We regularly stock various shapes and sizes of stainless steel in grades of 403, 405, 410, 415, and 422 and offer both expedited and standard turnaround times.

Precision Resources was founded in a 1200 square foot building with two Bridgeport Mills and two small engine lathes, and one machinist with a lifelong dream of owning his own shop. That machinist was Paul Ruby, and the time was July of 1989. At that point Paul had accumulated over 17 years of industry experience, starting with a vocational program within Los Angeles city schools. Paul later progressed from Journeyman machinist to master toolmaker, and finally to prototype machinist, accumulating experience in various shops in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, California. Paul has held numerous positions in the Aerospace Industry in Southern California, such as Development Engineer, Machine Shop Manager and Spacecraft Field Service Manager, including extensive experience in the Space Shuttle program. Paul had the desire to put that experience to work for Southern California Manufacturers. Today Precision Resources has grown from that 1200 square foot building to a 15,000 square foot company-owned facility in Hawthorne, California equipped with the latest technology in machined parts manufacturing. Our lot sizes went from 100,000 to millions of pieces annually to the current 1 piece to 5,000 piece type runs. The manufacturing landscape has changed and so have we.
