Welcome to American Grinding & Machine Company, one of the largest flat grinding shops in the country. We have twenty-two large surface grinding machines at your service. Welding represents another one of our divisions. We manufacture a heavy-duty steel base or table called the "BRUTE" Base, which is available in six standard shapes, or it can be completely customized to your needs. We fabricate all types of weldments from small pieces up to 30 tons. We also have a division called Interstate Abrasives, which is a distributorship for abrasive products. Interstate Abrasives stocks and represents over seventy different manufacturers of grinding wheels, diamond wheels, tools, and related products. Within two buildings, American Grinding offers Grinding, Welding, a Steel Warehouse stocked with plates to meet your demands, Flame Cutting, Saw Cutting, Stress Relieving, Shot Blasting, Painting, and Grinding Wheels. American Iron supplies continuous cast iron products to fluid power industries, bearing manufacturers, pattern shops, construction industries, and anyone requiring metallurgically superior cast iron, bronze, steel, and other alloy bars. We are the largest full-line Versa-Bar continuous cast iron master distributor. AIA also stocks, distributes, and machines the most popular grades of bronze bar and tubing.

AMECO USA was established in 1992 in Cleveland, Ohio. We provide Manufacturing, Engineering and Consulting services to customers requiring medium to heavy metal fabrications both domestically and internationally. In 1921, a small bearing company was established in Los Angeles to manufacture specialty bearings for early Indy Cars. From the seed planted that day grew the world’s leading developer in bearing propulsion systems. Throughout the 20th century, we’ve pioneered advancements in journal bearing design and the list of Navy ships and submarines equipped with bearings engineered and manufactured by AMB reads like the history of the US Navy fleet. The photo above titled “A Trainload of Cooperation” shows just one of three deliveries of Weldtite Lineshaft Bearings used in the construction of 531 Victory class ships. A century later, AMB continues to strive for that same level of cooperation with our supply base to ensure the success of our partners.

APT is commitment to the highest standards and maintain AS9100D and ISO 1345 Certifications. Our focus on quality includes industry standards like Six Sigma (DMAIC), capability studies, gage studies, SPC and DOEs. We document, implement and manage process plans tied to our Control Plans to ensure process control. Data gathering is vital for minimizing variation from part-to-part and lot-to-lot and we achieve this verification with our CMM inspection and reporting/exporting ability.
