Prior to TASC, Richard and the staff he worked with were involved in design and development projects – ranging from an electronic chess game to an apple labeling machine – for a variety of client companies. Richard was also involved in the design of the emergency oxygen mask lighting system for the Boeing 777 and helped in the design and development of Bally gaming machines, fully automatic espresso machines and body fat analyzers. In short, he has been involved in projects ranging from the simple to the leading edges of what is possible with today’s vast and far-reaching field of electronics. Most recently, TASC has been very active in the Homeland Security arena, doing various design and manufacturing projects for use by the U.S. Navy and the DOD. Additionally, the U.S. Army has benefited from the manufacturing skills TASC possesses with the addition of a computer inter-connect device utilized on the M1A1 Abrams Tank. TASC’s chief expertise, however, lies in the areas of electronics manufacturing techniques, and the assembly of final goods. TASC has evolved unique and effective techniques and quality control methodologies to streamline the manufacturing process and eliminate costly inefficiencies. Our team also does welding (MIG and TIG), grinding, polishing, assembly (if needed), powder coating (any color and texture), and have machines to insert your hardware (pem, studs, etc).
