Since our inception, our niche in the marketplace has been the production of customer-designed parts. You envision it, and we make it. The Laser Shop began in a small Milwaukee shop with one laser and one press brake in 1996—we wish we had a picture to show you the tight parameters of the shop. In 1997, we relocated to Germantown, Wisconsin where a lot of progress was made through gradual employment, equipment, and process expansion. Continued success and growth have led us to our newest location where we run our lasers around the clock in order to serve our customers as best as possible at our largest facility ever in Jackson, Wisconsin. We've gotten to where we are now based on our belief that quality product, on-time delivery, and value pricing is the key to our and your success. Your confidence in our ability to produce your product is important to us, which is why we decided to incorporate the ISO 9001 quality management system into our business model in 2012. The Laser Shop has maintained ISO 9001 certification by ABS Quality Evaluations since our initial approval in December of 2013. The Laser Shop is your one-stop shop for all your metal fabrication needs: laser cutting sheet metal, water jet cutting, forming, certified welding, fabrication, light machining, and painting. The Metal Shop was started in 2002 by Duane Swift after spending 30 years in the Navy and working for another exhibit company the opportunity to start a small business was offered. From very humble beginnings of one drill press and MIG welder Duane was off and running. Since that date, the company has remained small but has gone from those meager tools to machinery assets of over one million dollars. We have expanded our manufacturing space four times and currently have 35,000 square feet of manufacturing space and approximately 10 employees.

F. W. Steudler (known as Fritz) bought Vallorbs Jewel Company less than two years after graduating from Millersville State Teacher’s College in 1934. He had worked there after learning how to set jewel watch bearings from his father, Simon who worked at Hamilton Watch Company. After a few years of manufacturing watch bearings, he led the company into supplying precision aircraft instrumentation bearings. After WWII, he manufactured Sapphire Phonograph needles as the popularity of the Victrola grew. In the early 1950’s he bought his first Swiss Automatic Screw Machine and Vallorbs has been a quality leader in screw machine manufactured components ever since.
