Appalachian Cast Products was founded in August 1999 as a custom die cast facility. Die cast expertise and experience within our owner’s group total more than 125 years in all aspects of the die casting industry. As a group we were responsible for the first die cast company in North America to be ISO Certified (1994). Production began in September, 1999 with one 600 ton die cast machine. We have since grown to 11 die cast machines with various machining and finishing operations to support our customer’s requirements. With the addition of our tool shop with EDM capabilities, we can now build components in days that once took weeks from outside sources. The addition of a 56,000 sq. ft. building to house our Finishing and Machining allows us to be a turn- key option for our customers.

Through our distribution partners, we supply pipe, tube, fittings and valves to such industries as food and dairy, biopharmaceutical, wastewater, ethanol, meat packing, pulp and paper, power plants, semiconductor and mining. Originally focused on the custom manufacture of stainless pipe/tube fittings, ASI has evolved into a stocking manufacturer of 45° laterals, reducing tees, custom reducers, polished pipe and tube, and many other unique or difficult to find piping products. We have coupled that with an inventory of more mainstream fittings to provide one-stop procurement for many of our distributors stainless needs. As the industries changed, we have evolved, adjusting our focus to remain effective in the market place. Starting 1999 in a small warehouse in central Appleton, in 2001 we moved to a larger facility in Appleton’s Northeast Industrial Park. Outgrowing that space, we moved to our current facility on Appleton’s Northwest side to further expand our inventory of polished pipe and tube in sizes up to 20”. We offer our customers many specialty fittings, flanges, fabrication and custom machining with a heavy focus on fast turnaround. Our normal turnaround on most custom fittings is 5-7 working days; If you require it sooner – ask!! We work with customers to find the solution that best fits the circumstance, be it air freight, expedited delivery, special packaging or other needs. At ASI, you will find a company that is small enough to be nimble — adjusting shop schedules to adhere to the most demanding of customers’ lead-time requirements.
