ATD (Allstate Tool and Die) Precision was founded in 1968 as a privately-owned precision machining and manufacturing company based in Rochester, NY. Our founder, Paul Held Sr., immigrated to the United States from Hungary in 1956 during the Hungarian Revolution. Along with his toolmaking skills, Paul brought a strong work ethic and a relentless desire to succeed. He realized early on the potential of CNC technology and was one of the first in the area to invest heavily in the new CNC machinery.
